My special area of interest is relationships, pre-marriage and marriage counselling.
The use of Prepare-Enrich to give a couple personalized information and opportunity for feedback & discussion is invaluable to building a strong healthy relationship where individuals can grow and thrive. I believe solid, evidence-based pre-marriage counselling is essential to reduce divorce and family breakdown that has devastating effects. The Couple checkup is a wonderful tool to help couples get back on track, become more aware of their contributions to issues, and to develop a stronger marriage. Helping clients to recognise unhealthy ways of thinking, feeling & behaving while supporting them to respond in healthier ways to create understanding and harmony in relationship is an essential part of my work with conflicted couples.

Prepare-Enrich Pre-marital couples generally benefit from 3 x 1.5 hr sessions followed up with 1 session 6 months after the wedding. I will then contact you 2 years after your marriage for a followup conversation.
Prepare-Enrich Marriage counselling for conflicted couples will benefit from 3 + sessions. An individualised counselling plan will be developed to support you to work through issues and facilitate discussion.
