Debra is a registered individual and couples counsellor and relationship educator with 15 yrs experience working with couples in all stages of relationship – establishing, pre-marital and marriage counselling – setting up, building on or repairing the relationship foundations. Debra’s focus is to assist couples to identify and explore both areas of growth and strengths within their relationship. Debra’s experience includes 6 yrs working with Relationship Australia working with couples that included developing and presenting a Relationship Skill Building workshop designed for couples . Clients described Debra as having a warm, gentle, compassionate, emphatic and non-judgemental approach as a down-to-earth professional that bring new insights into their lives.
Over the years she has pursued a particular interest and expertise in depression, anxiety and trauma work, rebuilding from past abuse & domestic violence. Debra’s qualifications include Bachelor of Christian Counselling, Grad. Cert. in Developmental Trauma, Master of Counselling and Human Services and Specialist Couples training.
